Abbey Lee Kershaw for Vogue AU, March '10

I'm pretty sure everyone has probably seen these, but aren't they gorg? This is definitely the must have hair for the season & I'm really eager to see what this becomes once it trickles down to the masses. I'm planning on attempting it after reading this article from the hairstlyist who did it on Abbey.

And I HAVE TO GIVE PROPS TO ARABELLE for her too-awesome-for-words hair.

SNOW DAY!

Most of the time, I really love snow. I mean, what kid doesn't get excited for the possibility of a snow day? Except for when your coming home from your choir practice(when the director doesn't let you out early because "no, its not dangerous out") and the snow is so bad that your car spins out on the highway... and then a truck spins out into you.... and then the rear of your car is demolished. And the bitchy grandma in the huge truck that hit you keeps saying that, " it was all your fault. I am very disappointed that you can't control your vehicle. You should take a driving class". when she was the one who slid into me. that part sucks. I was bawling, but a snow day makes up for it in my mind!

Bono is my idol....has been since probably eighth grade.There music just seems so positive and hopeful. And they bring light to social justice issues in such a peaceful, non-violent way. LOVE.

Blogging should be back to normal tomorrow. I have a paper and a huge chem test that i really need to do well on so I've been pretty consumed with that. What kind of teachers assign tests and papers the day after the super bowl? un-american if you ask me... : )

p.s. I've been thinking about college a lot and I've been thinking about taking a gap year to travel. Its really not very common or encouraged here, but I have some friends in the UK & Australia & New Zealand who have taken them. I feel like I could really figure out what I want to do with my life if I just experienced the real world a bit. thoughts?

I have been crazy busy recently, sorry for the lack of posts. This week I seem to have a hell of a lot of test, projects and papers due and tons of meetings. And the weather is looking rather bleak(and really cold) to top it all off. I WANT SUMMER.
