Vogue China Feb. 2010

Vogue China is on a roll. I swoon everytime I see an editorial from them. They always seem so organic and simple but really stunning at the same time. I would love to get my hands on a copy of their feb issue. And I actually like the clothes for a change; they seem a lot more accessible and wearable than the spreads in American Vogue.... I especially love looks 2, 3 & 4. Karlie makes this whole spread have a classic american beauty vibe that a lot of the spring 2010 rtw lines seem to be expressing.

One more day tomorrow, off friday and father daughter dance that night(give me an excuse to buy a new dress and dress up and i'm there) which is always lots and lots of fun. Rest assured, I'll document the evening with some pictures, don't worry.

Super quick post because i have a ton of homework and i'm running on zero sleep (okay like 4 1/2 hours). Heres another lovely etsy find from Nadinoo. I seriously love this dress. Its such a perfect, simple shape... I can definitely see it as a great wardrobe staple. It comes in black and yellow too, but i personally love it in red. Pick it up for $185 here.

Howday! How's it going? I had a super relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Nothing super exciting but it was just plain nice. I wore this outfit today with red flats and later my black high tops. Sorry for the shit photo, but no one was around to take a pic for me and we have no full lengh mirrors! I really want one of those soon! When I went shopping today I found a really great hooded faux leather jacket at forever 21 for only $32 I think. The hood is detachable and its so simple and gorgeous. Unfortunately I'm broke( i NEED a job ASAP) so I couldn't get get it but maybe for my birthday! Oh and they also have some uber cute sheer polka dot tights(the ones that everyone has) for only like $5! I plan on snatching some of those up too when the cash flow is better.

I haven't really looked at whowhatwear yet, but know the website i'm sure that it'll be amazing and won't disappoint. The sartorialist is just as inspiring as the blog, but i LOVE being able to look at it anytime. love it!

I have been wanting these cds for a while now and I can say that i love them! They are really all superb.

I also got some giftcards and other random items(including a super soft and super warm knock off snuggie that looks likea kimono!).

This is totally un-blog and fashion related..... I got my summer job! I work at a lovely girl scout camp(sounds dorky, probably is, but its literally my favorite place in the world). I'll be there for 9 weeks this summer(that will make for quite a few blogging troubles) working as an office assistant. It sounds really boring but its actually a pretty crazy job. I'm hoping that it'll be much less stressful than being a counselor was(not as much interaction with crazy whining screaming children- yes!).

p.s. i did get to see the Outsiders for the first time... and it was amazing! its definitely a new favorite! The cast is really terrific(and, uh, rather built might i add)... makes me want a greaser of my own.
